Since the beginning of time there have been a hand full of questions that have perplexed and divided mankind. What is the meaning of life, how much wood could a wood chuck chuck and what’s better, herb seasoned or spicy fried chicken. We at The Roost hope to settle this final dispute once and for all. For the next few weeks we’ll be accommodating one of the most important experiments of our generation and we’re giving you the opportunity to cast your vote. Come by and try both and let the world know what flavor really rules The Roost.
After a few weeks back home building out our rig and a 19 hour marathon drive (braving a blizzard in the Virginia mountains), WE’RE BACK. The “Cluck Truck” has landed in the Windy City. There are a few logistical things we need to take care of before we hit the streets but we’re getting close. Check in with us for an official launch date and don’t forget to join us on March 1st at Lincoln Station from 7:00-10:00pm for our official launch party.
Thanks y’all – see you soon.
After some tweaks to the suspension it looks like we got the rig running like a champ. Here’s a pic from our last speed test. We swapped a little paint but nothing that won’t buff out. As they say, “rubbin’s racin.”
Howdy Chicago – We’re The Roost. Bringing authentic Southern fare straight from the Carolinas to a curb near you. We’re currently back home building our rig but you can expect to see us soon. In the meantime, poke around the website a bit and check us out on Twitter or Facebook for updates on our progress.
